Christian Wethered has been published widely in Ireland and the UK, most recently in Poetry Ireland, The Moth and Brittle Star. He was a finalist in the Aesthetica and Cafe Writers competitions, and later elected for the Poetry Ireland Introductions Series 2017, and 'Best of New Irish and British Poets 2018' (Eyewear). His debut pamphlet 'I Don't Love You' (Eyewear) was shortlisted for the Melita Hume Prize 2018, and his poem 'Lethe' was nominated for the Forward Prize (Best Poem Category). At present he has forthcoming work in an anthology for New Irish Voices (Dedalus Press).
He is currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing at UCD.
